Reporting to the Director of Business Development, the Business Development Manager is responsible for driving company growth and revenue, securing new clients, developing strategic partnerships, strengthening client relationships, and expanding market presence for utility and environmental services throughout the region. The Business Development Manager represents Ecotech professionally in the marketplace while supporting client relationship management and the ability to identify opportunities across construction, utilities, and environmental sectors. Business Development & Client Relations Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients through regular communication, site visits, networking, and follow-up activities. opportunities through prospecting, referrals, cold calling, social media engagement, and industry networking. Identify client needs and recommend appropriate service solutions while promoting Ecotech's service capabilities. Conduct presentations, participate in pre-job meetings, and assist with estimating, proposal preparation, and contract coordination as needed. Maintain accurate and organized records of client interactions, leads, opportunities, and business development activities within company systems. Serve as a primary point of contact for clients by providing responsive communication, professional follow-up, and a high level of service throughout the client relationship lifecycle. Client Experience & Site Engagement Build strong working relationships with field personnel, project managers, and client representatives to ensure a positive and consistent client experience. Proactively gather feedback during site visits regarding project performance, communication, and service quality, and communicate findings to internal teams. Monitor client satisfaction and help resolve concerns promptly and professionally to support long-term partnerships and repeat business. Represent Ecotech professionally at all times while reinforcing the company's commitment to safety, responsiveness, operational excellence, and client service. Marketing & Networking Maintain an active and professional presence on social media platforms (such as LinkedIn) to support networking and brand awareness efforts. Represent Ecotech at industry events, trade shows, conferences, safety meetings, and community functions to increase market visibility and develop new business relationships. Assist in identifying market trends, competitor activity, and potential growth opportunities within the multiple industries we serve. Experience & Certifications Bachelors degree or equivalent sales/business development experience preferred. Strong strategic thinking, communication, and presentation skills. A valid Driver's License is required. Must consent to background check, motor vehicle check, and pre-employment drug screening; comply with Ecotech's drug-free workplace policy.
