The Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing customer service and supporting outside sales representatives across a variety of concrete, masonry, and landscape product lines. Responsibilities include order entry, shipment processing, quotations, order accuracy, and assisting with customer issues.

Essential Functions:

Answer customer phone calls and assist customers with questions and product needs Provide customer service to customers both over the phone and in person Enter and process customer orders accurately through the company ERP system Provide product pricing and availability for concrete block, brick, stone, landscape products, and related product lines Prepare quotes and provide product information to support sales Process shipments and check outgoing orders for accuracy Work with Accounting, Yard, Drivers, Outside Sales, and Dispatch to meet customer needs Address customer issues and escalate concerns to a supervisor when necessary Learn and maintain knowledge of products and company-specific software Travel to satellite locations to provide coverage as needed

Education & Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent Experience with concrete, masonry, landscape, or related building products preferred Customer service, order entry, or related experience preferred

Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently Ability to calculate figures and amounts accurately Ability to handle customer situations professionally Ability to work effectively with customers and internal departments Willingness to learn and maintain product knowledge
