Frey & Co., CPAs is looking for an Administrative & Client Services Professional to join our team. This is more than a traditional receptionist role. The right person will be an important part of our day-to-day operations, helping clients, supporting our staff, managing administrative responsibilities, and helping keep our office running smoothly. About Us Frey & Co., CPAs is a well-established, full-service accounting firm serving individuals and businesses throughout our community. For more than 25 years, we have built our reputation on providing knowledgeable, dependable service while maintaining the personal relationships and friendly atmosphere of a local firm. Our team provides tax, accounting, advisory, assurance, payroll, and bookkeeping services. We take pride in creating a professional but welcoming environment for both our clients and employees. What You'll Do In this role, you will: Provide friendly, professional customer service to clients in person and over the phone Answer and direct incoming calls Greet clients and assist with general questions Prepare, scan, organize, and process documents Enter and maintain information in office software and systems Assist with scheduling, client follow-up, and general office support Help manage client documents, requests, and administrative workflow Manage multiple tasks and changing priorities in a busy office environment Learn and use a variety of office and accounting-related software Communicate professionally with clients and coworkers Work independently and follow responsibilities through to completion Assist other team members and departments as needed What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is professional, personable, dependable, and able to take ownership of their responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will have:
Excellent customer service and communication skills A friendly and professional phone presence Strong computer and technology skills The ability to learn new software and systems quickly Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities Strong general administrative and office skills The ability to work independently and take initiative A team-oriented attitude and willingness to help wherever needed Dependability, professionalism, discretion, and good judgment Strong follow-through and attention to deadlines Previous experience in an accounting, tax, financial, legal, or other professional-services office is a plus. Basic knowledge of tax preparation, accounting terminology, or accounting-office procedures is also helpful, but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate who has strong administrative, technology, and customer-service skills. Schedule Our workload follows the seasonal nature of the accounting industry. Candidates must be willing and able to work additional hours during our busiest tax season, particularly in March and April. During this period, the office is fast-paced and deadlines are a major part of our daily workflow. During the slower summer months, the position may have a lighter or reduced schedule. Applicants should be comfortable with this seasonal workflow and have the flexibility to adjust their hours based on the needs of the firm. Why Join Us?
