Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and professional Medical Call Center Representative to serve as the vital link between patients and healthcare providers. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and the ability to handle high-volume calls with efficiency and empathy. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to patient care by providing accurate information, scheduling appointments, and addressing inquiries promptly. This requires a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced medical environment. Duties Answer incoming calls from patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies with professionalism and courtesy. Provide accurate information regarding medical services, appointment scheduling, and general health inquiries. Utilize medical terminology effectively to understand and relay patient information clearly. Enter data accurately into electronic health records and other relevant systems to ensure up-to-date patient information. Assist patients with appointment scheduling, rescheduling an cancellation. Take messages from other physician offices, pharmacies, or hospitals. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive medical information in compliance with privacy regulations. Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette and communication skills to foster positive interactions with callers. Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure seamless patient service delivery and support administrative workflows. Skills . Understanding of our practice speciality so proper inforamtion can be given out to the caller. .Proficient computer skills, including data entry, electronic health record management, and basic troubleshooting. Exceptional customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette. Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—to convey information clearly and empathetically. Previous experience in a medical office.
