Job Description

WorldCare Pet Transport is a leading company providing pet relocation services for families around the world. We are looking for a pet-loving, customer-focused Associate Pet Relocation Counselor who will join in our mission to reunite people with their pets all over the world.
THIS IS AN IN-OFFICE POSITION IN DARIEN, CT
(with summer being hybrid).
Important note:
This position will help support our team that serves customers in the Asia-Pacific region. During non-summer months, this is an in-office position Monday through Friday 8:30a-5 pm. During the summer months, this position may be required to flex hours for a split work schedule with some hours in the office daily and some hours that are remote work. While this summer schedule is still being determined, a possible daily schedule would be: in-office four hours daily during the business day and working remotely four hours daily in the night hours to accommodate time zone differences (possibly from 9:00 pm- 1:00 a.m. but may require flexibility depending on business needs). As an Associate Pet Relocation Counselor you will be responsible for the following among other tasks: Supporting the communications and planning activities involved with domestic and international pet moves as directed by Pet Relocation Counselors in our customer service department Assisting with logistical support such as confirming travel information with our origin agents and destination agents, supplying itineraries, ordering travel carriers Sending updates or requesting information from customers Researching as needed: with vets, boarding facilities, quarantine, etc. Helping to prepare billing Database entry and updating of information on the company's customer relationship management program and other systems Administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required from an accredited college or university
  • 1-2 years prior customer service or administrative experience preferred but not required
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft applications
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Strong computer and administrative skills with a keyboarding/typing speed of 60+ wpm
  • Superb communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to flex hours in the peak season of summer and take on an overnight schedule in support of customers in the Asian markets
  • Excellent attention to detail
