Job Description

Ear, Nose & Throat Consultants (ENTC) is excited to announce multiple opportunities in our Call Center. We are now welcoming applicants to apply for our Patient Communications Team Member position(s). This position is full-time, Monday - Friday, and is located in Southfield (12 Mile & Telegraph). As a Patient Communications Team Member (PCT), you will often be the first team member to interact with our patients. You have the primary position, in our Perfect Patient Journey model, which will determine the patient's experience with our practice. Patient Communication Team Members are the liaison between our practice and its established and new patients. Computer experience and data entry accuracy are essential. The ideal candidate must be attentive and have the ability to work efficiently in a high-volume work environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage high volume amount of inbound and outbound calls in a timely and professional manner. Follow communication "scripts" when handling various patient needs. Identify patients' needs, clarify information, and troubleshoot patient inquiries. Build sustainable relationships and engage patient by being patient and thorough. Maintain records of all conversations in Call Center Database in an understandable manner. This is a fully on-site role; remote work is not permitted Requirements and skills: Team Player Positive Attitude Medical Terminology, Preferred Strong telephone communication, Required Strong verbal communication, Required Active listening Attention to detail Ability to multi-task Effective time-management Compassion for patients Helpful, caring, responsive demeanor Previous experience in a Patient support role, Preferred Patient focused Adaptability to different personality types Applicants must complete skill assessments to be considered for review.
