Employees receive one (1) hour of compensated indirect (administrative) service time for every seven (7) billable service hours completed Position Summary The Client Services Specialist provides person-centered employment and rehabilitation services to individuals with authorized Vocational Rehabilitation service programs. This position supports clients in achieving meaningful employment outcomes through Career Exploration (CE), Job Development & Retention (JDR), and Rehabilitation Instructional Services (RIS). The Client Services Specialist serves as a coach, advocate, educator, and resource while maintaining compliance with all agency policies, procedures, and Vocational Rehabilitation vendor requirements. This position is as an employee of CareerLink Southwest (CLSW, agency) and is not an employee or direct vendor of the State of Arizona Vocational Rehabilitation department. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Manage an assigned caseload of clients and maintain an average of 15 billable service hours per week. Provide individualized support, training, coaching, and guidance through in-person, virtual, and telephone/videophone meetings to help clients achieve goals outlined in their individualized service plans. Deliver job development, placement, retention, career exploration, and Rehabilitation Instructional Services in accordance with individualized service plans. Educate clients on workplace expectations, ADA accommodations, disability-related resources, benefits, community supports, and other topics that promote independence and employment success. Provide educational, training, and experiential learning opportunities aligned with client goals and service objectives. Advocate for clients needs using a culturally responsive, strengths-based, and trauma-informed approach. Develop and maintain positive relationships with employers, community partners, and service providers to identify employment opportunities and support successful client outcomes. Maintain timely, accurate, and complete case records, service documentation, reports, and timesheets in compliance with agency requirements, including documentation of direct, indirect, and administrative activities. Protect client confidentiality and comply with all agency policies, procedures, regulations, credentialing requirements, trainings, and continuing education expectations. Perform other duties as assigned. Team-Based Service Model This position operates within a collaborative team-based service model in which clients are served by the agency as a whole. Client assignments are determined based on individual needs and program requirements and may be reassigned as necessary to ensure continuity of services, quality service delivery, and positive client outcomes. Employment Requirements Required High School Diploma or GED. Minimum one (1) year of experience in workforce development, vocational rehabilitation, employment services, disabilities services, or a related field. Valid driver's license and/or reliable transportation. Strong communication, organization, documentation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic documentation systems. Must obtain and maintain a valid Fingerprint Clearance Card prior to employment. Must successfully pass a background check Preferred Associate degree in Social Work, Human Services, Behavioral Health, Rehabilitation Services, Education, or a related field. Knowledge of Vocational Rehabilitation services, disability accommodations, ADA regulations, workforce development practices, and community resources.
