About the role Solar Service is who Texans call when their solar stops working. We don't sell or install systems — we repair, maintain and upgrade what's already on the roof, whoever put it there. Since 2017 that's earned us more than 1,200 five-star reviews across Austin and San Antonio. You'll own the customer from the first ring of the phone to the technician pulling into their driveway. Homeowners call because production dropped, the monitoring app went dark, or the company that installed their system stopped answering — and most have no idea what's actually wrong. You listen, work out what they need, explain it in plain English, and earn the booking. Then you own the calendar — building the schedule, routing technicians across Austin and San Antonio, managing ETAs, and catching conflicts before a customer ever feels one. It all runs through one system, and we'll teach it to you. We're a small Austin company in an industry that isn't going anywhere, and we're growing. For you that means seeing the whole business instead of one slice of it, working directly with the owners, and real room to grow into more. Compensation - What's in it for You? Base salary is $55,000. Commission and bonuses sit on top and are uncapped — no ceiling, no quota where you stop earning. A solid first year lands around $75,000. Our current top performer cleared $85,000 in year one. That's a real person on this team, not a projection.

Flexibility:

hybrid remote with in office only being two days. We're not going to breathe over your neck and micro-manage you. On the other hand, this is a role for self starters and it pays upon performance. We send you to Home Service Freedom and Pantheon every year the two best national home service conference in Las Vegas and Florida respectively. A few days on the road, and the best weeks of professional development this industry has. What you'll do Answer inbound calls from homeowners and figure out what's actually going on with their system Explain the problem and the fix in language a normal person understands Book diagnostics, repairs, cleanings and assessments, and earn the booking rather than just take it Follow up with existing customers on open quotes and recommended work Talk through our Platinum and Platinum Plus membership plans and sign up the customers they fit Build and manage the daily technician schedule across both metros Route jobs sensibly, manage ETAs, and solve scheduling conflicts before they reach the customer Keep customer records, job notes and dispositions accurate and current What we're looking for Genuinely good on the phone — warm, clear, and unhurried with someone who's frustrated Organized enough to hold a live schedule in your head and spot a route that doesn't make sense Comfortable picking up new software — you'll be living in our scheduling system all day Calm when a technician calls in sick at 7am and four customers need moving Curious about how things work — you'll learn more about solar here than you expect to Solar, trades, dispatch or home-service call center experience helps, but we'll train the right person The details Hybrid remote, based in Buda, TX (just south of Austin) Monday through Friday - 9am-5pm In office two days a week Closed Sundays for faith and family — we mean it Health, dental and vision Paid time off Direct access to the owners and a clear path to more responsibility
