Job Description
Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Customer Experience specialist for a
FULLY REMOTE
contract position. This opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced service environment, enjoys solving problems in real time, and can confidently support candidates, clients, and branch teams. The role centers on handling a high volume of daily interactions, navigating multiple systems efficiently, and delivering clear, accurate guidance. Must be okay with the following working hours: (Monday, Tuesday, Friday 7:00am to 6:00pm) (Wednesday, Thursday 12:00pm to 5:00pm)Responsibilities:
- Manage a large volume of daily inbound and outbound customer contacts, providing timely support and maintaining service quality in a metrics-driven setting.
- Investigate and resolve payroll and service-related questions by gathering details, identifying next steps, and ensuring accurate follow-through.
- Assist candidates, clients, and branch personnel with questions about processes, timelines, and available service options.
- Enter, update, and document transactions carefully across multiple platforms, escalating items to payroll operations when additional action is required.
- Explain self-service tools and communication channels so users can complete routine tasks more efficiently and with greater confidence.
- Use sound judgment during unscripted conversations to address concerns effectively and adapt responses to each situation.
- Work closely with internal teams to support smooth issue resolution and maintain consistent communication across service channels. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least 3 years of customer service experience in a detail-oriented environment.
- Minimum of 1 year of call center experience, preferably in a high-volume setting.
- Strong ability to navigate multiple systems while documenting interactions accurately and efficiently.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Experience with HR or payroll systems, such as PeopleSoft, is preferred.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to think quickly during live customer interactions.
- Ability to meet attendance, quality, and productivity expectations in a fast-paced, performance-based environment.
