Customer Service Collections Associate (Remote Option After Training)
Pay:
From $17.00/hour
Schedule:
Full-time Why this role is worth a look Remote option after training: Start in-office while you ramp up. After training and once you're consistently meeting performance expectations ( KPIs ), you can transition to fully remote work (typically around 45 days ). Prefer staying onsite? That's an option too.

We're hiring a Customer Service Collections Associate who can combine empathy with confidence, communicate clearly, and help customers find realistic payment solutions—while staying compliant. What you'll do You'll support consumers with past-due accounts through a solutions-first, respectful approach. Handle inbound and outbound calls related to balances, payments, and account questions Explain account details clearly while following compliance and call quality standards Set up and negotiate payment arrangements within approved guidelines Accurately document account activity in internal systems Respond to questions, disputes, and requests with professionalism and urgency Meet expectations for productivity, call quality, and KPIs Follow all company policies and applicable regulations, including FDCPA and related requirements What we're looking for
Required:
Strong verbal communication and a professional phone presence Customer-first mindset (able to be firm, fair, and respectful ) Comfortable using a computer and switching between multiple screens/systems Detail-oriented with accurate documentation habits Able to handle sensitive conversations and maintain confidentiality Reliable attendance and punctuality Preferred (not required): 6+ months in customer service, call center, collections, AR, or financial services Bilingual skills are a plus Work environment & location (important) This role starts in person in a fast-paced call center environment with hands-on training and coaching. After training and once you consistently meet KPIs (typically ~45 days ), you may transition to work from home .
