Job Description We are seeking a Customer Service Rep - Merch Terminal Support CSR to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in merchant credit card processing support, terminal troubleshooting, and customer service and a proven ability to diagnose issues, resolve inquiries, and communicate policies with clarity .
Responsibilities:
Respond to telephone inquiries, requests, and issues from merchants regarding credit card processing and related services. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve problems with service, authorization, and credit card processing terminals. Communicate applicable policies, procedures, and practices to merchants with accuracy. Request exceptions to policies and procedures on behalf of merchants within established limits.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. At least 6 months of customer service experience. Effective telephone etiquette and clear verbal communication. Problem-solving and negotiation skills with the ability to handle difficult calls.
Preferred Skills:
Ability to identify, resolve, and escalate complex issues. Proficient navigation of software tools, including Microsoft Office. Demonstrated commitment to high quality customer service.
