Job Description

About the Role EFX Corp is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Customer Support Specialist to join our team full-time. In this role, you will serve as a primary point of contact for customers across multiple product lines, handling inquiries via phone and email while delivering an exceptional service experience. You will play a key role in onboarding new customers, supporting underwriting processes, managing reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with company standards. This is a dynamic position that blends customer-facing communication with technical problem-solving and reporting. Key Responsibilities Manage inbound and outbound customer communications via phone calls and email across multiple product lines. Onboard new customers by guiding them through setup, product education, and initial account configuration. Support underwriting processes by collecting required documentation, verifying information, and coordinating with internal teams. Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Provide first-level technical support and troubleshooting for product-related issues, escalating complex matters as needed. Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry regulations, and company standards throughout all customer interactions. Read, interpret, and create reports to track customer activity, support metrics, and operational performance. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and case resolutions in the CRM system. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, compliance, and product to resolve customer issues and improve processes. Qualifications & Requirements Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly and professionally. Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); strong Excel skills are highly valued. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail, particularly with data entry, reconciliations, and compliance documentation. Experience in customer support, account management, or a related customer-facing role preferred. Familiarity with underwriting concepts and financial services is a plus. Ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues and communicate solutions effectively to non-technical users. Strong organizational and time-management skills with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset. Preferred Qualifications Experience using HubSpot CRM or similar customer relationship management platforms. Background in compliance-related workflows or regulated industries. Prior experience supporting multiple products or service lines simultaneously. Familiarity with reading and generating business reports, dashboards, or performance summaries. Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
