What you'll do Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting shoppers with their needs. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions accurately. Engage customers through product demonstrations, highlighting features and benefits to boost sales. Maintain a well-organized and visually appealing merchandise display to attract customers. Handle cash transactions with precision, ensuring accuracy in cash handling and retail math. Assist in stocking shelves and managing inventory levels to keep products readily available. Upsell products by identifying customer needs and recommending suitable items. Exhibit excellent phone etiquette when addressing customer inquiries or concerns. Basic qualifications Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Experience in retail sales or customer service environments is preferred. Preferred qualifications Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers. Familiarity with deli operations will give you an edge in understanding our products.
