About the Company Mid-State Tire Distributor is a service-oriented wholesale tire distributor, serving the Southeast since 1984. We strive to provide reliable and dependable service to our customers from our distribution centers in Columbia, Greenville, Dillon, and Walterboro, SC. Job Summary We are seeking an Administrative Assistant/ Customer Service Associate to join our Dillon team! This will primarily be to assist with the administrative functions of the branch and help taking care of our customers. It will be necessary to travel to Greenville for training for this position in the beginning.
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience as an office administrator, office assistant or relevant role Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities Excellent organizational and time management skills Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles Excellent knowledge of MS Office and office management software (ERP etc.) Attention to detail in the handling and posting of payments on accounts Motivation to learn and take on more responsibility as needed Bilingual in Spanish is not required but would make the candidate more desirable Responsibilities Daily processing of payments and posting to accounts Filing daily paperwork and communicating through email Receiving inbound deliveries into POS Support bookkeeping procedures Check in drivers after completing their route by timely and accurate verification of invoices, associated paperwork, and monies collected Assist with customer pick up business Assist colleagues whenever necessary
