Service Advisor

In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking vehicle maintenance and repairs, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and efficiency. Your automotive knowledge and sales skills will help guide customers through service options, present additional maintenance, and foster long-term relationships that keep our clients coming back. Duties Greet customers warmly, listen carefully to their vehicle concerns, and accurately record their service requests. Explain repair and maintenance procedures clearly, providing detailed estimates and service recommendations. Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of services. Present the customer with additional needed services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs, alignments, suspension work, transmission services, diesel engine repairs, shocks & struts, air brake systems, auto body repairs, and other automotive diagnostics. Manage service writing tasks efficiently using software to prepare accurate invoices and work orders. Handle cash transactions securely while maintaining precise records of all financial exchanges. Foster strong customer relationships through proactive communication, follow-up calls, and ensuring satisfaction with every visit. Skills Proven experience in a dealership or automotive service environment with a solid understanding of auto service management. Strong sales acumen with the ability to upsell services confidently while maintaining integrity. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and clear communication abilities. Familiarity with auto service department and repair order management software to create accurate estimates and invoices. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while managing multiple customer interactions efficiently. Knowledge of automobile sales processes is a plus for promoting vehicle upgrades or new sales opportunities.
