Responsibilities Operate the cash register and POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process retail sales transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product selections. Maintain store merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented. Assist with inventory management tasks such as stock replenishment and stockroom organization to support smooth store operations. Demonstrate effective phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers over the phone. Food Experience is preferred but will be provided otherwise. Prepping, cooking, and cleaning food equipment. Qualifications Prior experience with POS systems, cash register operations, or retail sales transactions is preferred but will be provided otherwise. Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities, are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively. Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership skills in a retail setting is a plus. Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction balancing. Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising techniques, and inventory management practices. Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to foster positive interactions with shoppers. Experience with upselling techniques and product demos to enhance sales opportunities.
