Your expertise in automotive diagnostics, mechanical knowledge, and excellent client communication skills will help customers understand their vehicle needs while maximizing service opportunities through upselling and accurate estimating. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and professionally, establishing trust and rapport to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs Conduct thorough vehicle inspections, utilizing automotive diagnostics tools and estimating software to identify issues accurately Explain repair recommendations clearly, providing detailed service writing that includes mechanical assessments such as transmissions, brakes, suspension, tire service, shocks & struts, oil changes, air brake systems, alignments, and collision repairs Upsell additional services and maintenance options by highlighting benefits aligned with customer needs while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of services while maintaining quality standards Maintain comprehensive records of all service activities, estimates, client communications, and repair orders using auto service management systems Experience Proven dealership experience or auto service advisor background with a strong understanding of automotive repair processes Hands-on mechanic experience or familiarity with automotive diagnostics enhances ability to communicate technical information effectively Knowledge of automotive systems including transmissions, oil change procedures, suspension work, tire services, shocks & struts, brake repair, alignment Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients from diverse backgrounds Sales experience with a focus on upselling maintenance services while maintaining integrity and transparency Valid driver's license with a clean driving record to facilitate test drives or vehicle inspections Embark on a rewarding career where your automotive expertise meets exceptional customer care!
