2 days ago Job Description Join Our Team as a Contact Center Specialist Ellsworth AFB/Box Elder, SD | Full-Time (40 hours/week) Looking for a stable, meaningful job where people actually care about each other—and you? You might be just who we need. Sentinel Federal Credit Union is hiring a friendly and dependable Contact Center Specialist to join our team in Rapid City. This role works directly with members over the phone and through electronic channels to answer questions, resolve concerns, and provide support across a wide range of accounts and services. This position offers the opportunity to build strong knowledge of credit union operations, member services, and financial products while working for an organization that believes in teamwork, stability, and promoting from within. Training for this role will be conducted in-office during the initial training period, with the potential for remote work after training is completed, if desired and approved. Benefits That Actually Matter Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance Dependent Care & Medical Flex Spending Accounts Life Insurance & Long-Term Disability Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Time Off & Perks 3 weeks of paid time off per year Paid holidays & personal days Paid volunteer hours Inclement weather pay Growth & Development Paid professional development and networking opportunities Mentorship program Professional book reimbursement Strong commitment to internal promotion and career growth What You'll Do Answer incoming member calls and respond to questions regarding accounts, loans, payments, and services Research and resolve member inquiries, concerns, and account discrepancies in a timely and professional manner Process account maintenance requests such as address changes, stop payments, account closures, and card orders Provide support for online banking, mobile deposits, and other digital services Assist members with transactions including transfers, payments, and wire requests Educate members on Credit Union products and services and identify opportunities to better serve their needs Maintain accurate records and follow up on member requests to ensure resolution and satisfaction Follow all Credit Union policies, procedures, and security guidelines while maintaining confidentiality Who You Are At least 18 years old with a valid driver's license High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required; additional education preferred One year of customer service or related experience preferred Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Comfortable working with multiple systems, technology, and detailed information Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive member information accurately Friendly, dependable, and able to work effectively in a team environment Able to sit, stand, and perform computer-based work throughout the day What We're Really Looking For You're someone who: Communicates clearly and professionally Stays calm and positive when handling multiple calls or complex situations Takes initiative and follows through on tasks and member requests Enjoys helping others and creating a positive member experience Values accuracy, teamwork, and accountability Schedule Monday-Friday (varies), 7:30am-5:30pm How to Apply Ready to take the next step?
