Cashier/Customer Service

Duties Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately to process transactions efficiently and handle cash, credit, and mobile payments with precision. Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and resolving concerns promptly. Assist customers with product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging additional sales through upselling techniques. Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented and accessible. Manage inventory levels by performing stock checks and assisting with inventory counts to support store organization. Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely, ensuring clear and professional communication. Support the store's sales goals by promoting products, offering recommendations, and engaging in retail math to maximize revenue opportunities. Experience Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is highly advantageous. Supervising experience is a plus, especially if it involved overseeing customer service or sales teams. Bilingual skills are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively. Strong communication skills coupled with excellent phone etiquette are essential for success in this role. Experience in merchandising, stocking, or retail sales will help you excel in maintaining an attractive shopping environment.
