Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dynamic Customer Service Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent phone etiquette, and have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service to bank customers. Responsibilities
- Cultivate favorable customer relations by providing high quality service.
- Contribute to the development of new business by identifying sales opportunities and taking the necessary steps to sell and cross-sell.
- Minimize losses to the Bank by maintaining a high level of accuracy in the completion of all account information.
- Contribute to the efficient operation of the Branch by collection and maintaining data and preparing various reports in an accurate and timely manner.
- Contribute to the efficient operation of the Bank by accepting new responsibilities and duties as needed and by maintaining a minimum of absences and tardy days.
Nature and Scope:
- As a Customer Service Representative the incumbent is responsible for providing high quality service to customers and associates of First Federal Bank.
- The incumbent must have a working knowledge of all types of accounts and the regulations governing these accounts. This knowledge enables the incumbent to open and close accounts as well as give appropriate and correct information to any new or existing customer.
- The incumbent is responsible for maintaining a knowledge of all bank products and services.
- The incumbent has goals set on an annual basis that consist of calls, letters and cross-selling and a given number of products each month, and also to keep a record for tracking goals.
- The incumbent must maintain an acceptable level of absences in order to ensure that the necessary level of customer service is available at all times.
- The responsibilities of this position require the incumbent to be able to use various types of equipment. Minimum Qualifications
- High School Education
- Four to five years of banking experience is recommended
- Above average typing skills
- Additional training on Bank regulations governing selected products.
