Cashier/Customer Service

Duties Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process transactions swiftly and securely Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and provide product information to enhance their shopping experience Upsell products and suggest add-on items to boost sales while meeting customer needs Conduct product demos when applicable to showcase features and benefits effectively Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring the store looks inviting Handle cash handling responsibilities with precision, including giving correct change and balancing registers at shift end Provide excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or via online inquiries Support grocery store operations by assisting with inventory management, stocking, and basic retail math calculations Qualifications Previous cashiering or retail sales experience preferred; supervisory experience is a plus for leadership opportunities Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers in both English and bilingual settings if applicable Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math concepts Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and inventory tasks Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude Knowledge of grocery store operations or experience in a similar retail environment is advantageous Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work flexible hours as needed Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering outstanding service!
