About Our Client:
Addison Group is hiring on behalf of our client for a Customer Service Representative / Order Management Specialist to join their team in Franklin, TN. This is a fully onsite opportunity supporting customer accounts, order processing, inventory coordination, quoting, and shipping activities. The role is primarily focused on written communication and order operations, with limited phone interaction.
Job Description:
The Customer Service Representative / Order Management Specialist will be responsible for supporting customers and internal teams throughout the order lifecycle. This position will handle customer communication, order entry, quotes, inventory inquiries, shipping coordination, and related administrative responsibilities. The successful candidate will be comfortable working across multiple systems and managing detailed transactional work while maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and manage customer orders from initial receipt through fulfillment. Communicate with customers primarily through email while handling a limited number of inbound calls. Develop and coordinate product, freight, and order-related quotes. Review inventory information and provide customers with updates on availability and order status. Enter, revise, and maintain customer orders within internal business systems. Process orders received through email and EDI platforms. Assist with freight arrangements and communicate relevant shipping information. Keep customer, pricing, inventory, and order records accurate and up to date. Research order-related questions and resolve issues by working across multiple systems. Partner with internal departments to coordinate customer requests, inventory, orders, and shipping. Support the organization's ongoing implementation of NetSuite. Provide additional administrative and customer service assistance as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required. Previous experience in customer service, order management, sales support, or a related customer operations environment. Prior experience with quoting and inventory management is strongly preferred. Experience working with an ERP system. NetSuite experience is a plus. Familiarity with EDI or electronic order processing is preferred. Strong written communication skills, particularly in an email-based customer service environment. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple orders and priorities. Comfortable performing detailed, transactional work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work fully onsite in Franklin, TN.
Additional Details:
Schedule:
Monday-Thursday, 7:30 AM-4:30 PM; Friday, 7:00 AM-4:00 PM. Fully onsite position in Franklin, TN. Employment options may include Contract-to-Hire or Direct Hire. The position will work with multiple business systems, including ERP, EDI, CommerceHub, QuickBooks, and NetSuite. The team currently consists of a manager and two additional team members. Training will focus on the organization's products, customers, systems, and internal procedures. Interview process includes an initial interview followed by an onsite interview.
