Job Description

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) manages the relationship and daily interaction with customers. The CSR manages and coordinates load count growth, accuracy of information entered in the system, service performance levels, improving quality of freight, strengthens relationships with customers, and proactively communicates issues with customers. Responsibilities Create, develop, and retain business relationships with assigned customers Manage account relationships as the primary point of contact for day-to-day needs, including ongoing communications, coordination of customer needs, billing, collections, and other activities Identify and qualify additional opportunities with existing customers through relationship building Understand current market conditions to identify additional opportunities to increase margins Monitor service to meet customer expectations Monitor EDI for any load tenders ⁠Follow up with customers on any missed loads / service issues Review turnover left by extended coverage to update customers on any customer issues Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities General knowledge of U.S. Geography and U.S. Interstate system. Ability to demonstrate a high level of proficiency in MS Word, Excel, TMW, and Outlook or other web-based and email-based programs Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with customers, operations personnel, and management. Ability to work occasional evenings, weekends, holidays, sometimes on short notice. Ability to handle multiple projects required and organize well. Education/Experience Bachelor's degree or 1+ years equivalent experience in Business, Logistics, or other relevant area Experience in the transportation industry, preferably in Fleet Management, Load Planning or Customer Service is preferred.

The posted range reflects the full pay band for the position. The expected pay range below represents where most candidates are hired, based on experience, skills, and internal equity. Candidates with more extensive or highly relevant experience may be considered toward the higher end of the overall pay band.

$45,008.00-$50,772.80
Full Pay Range:
$45,008.00-$69,575.00
