Job Description
Responsibilities Responsible for handling confidential and sensitive matters Provides customer service including the opening of new accounts and resolution of customer inquiries Provides customers with information on deposit accounts, rates, service charges, restrictions, and other relevant account information Responsible for following proper regulatory guidelines in the preparation of all paperwork for opening of all new account products offered within the Bank Responsible for cross-selling other bank services and refers customers to other departments as appropriate Knowledge of Bank Operations Keeps informed of changes in bank services or procedures Implements company policy pertaining to the cashing of checks and withdrawal of funds from accounts Responsible for approval of cashing of checks and withdrawal of funds from accounts within the authority of the dollar amount approved for the position. Responsible for handling a wide variety of customer problems either through direct personal action or referral to the proper department Trains additional new accounts representatives Performs Teller duties when necessary Responsible for ensuring compliance with
