This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, stays busy, and is willing to learn about hardware and home improvement products.

Responsibilities include:

Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful service Operate the cash register and accurately handle cash and card transactions Answer customer questions and help customers locate products Answer phone calls and assist customers with basic product and store information Stock, organize, price, and straighten merchandise Keep the checkout area and sales floor clean and organized Help receive and put away merchandise when needed Learn basic hardware, plumbing, paint, lawn & garden, and home improvement products Assist other team members as needed throughout the store What we're looking for: Dependable and punctual Friendly with good customer service skills Comfortable talking with customers Willing to learn and ask questions Able to work independently and as part of a team Basic computer and cash-handling skills Able to stand for extended periods and lift merchandise as needed Retail or customer service experience is helpful but not required Hardware knowledge is a plus but we are willing to train Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus

Schedule:

Must have reliable availability and be able to work Saturdays as scheduled.

Pay:
