Description We are looking for a Call Center Specialist to support homeowners in Texas who are seeking guidance with mortgage assistance options. This contract opportunity is ideal for someone who combines empathy, clear communication, and strong attention to detail in a high-volume customer service setting. In this role, you will help customers understand available solutions, gather needed information, and maintain accurate records throughout each interaction. Success in this position requires professionalism, reliability, and the ability to handle sensitive conversations with care.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to incoming calls from homeowners requesting support related to mortgage assistance programs.
- Guide customers through available loss mitigation solutions and clearly outline required next steps.
- Review account details and enter thorough, accurate notes following each customer interaction.
- Request, receive, and confirm documents needed to evaluate assistance options.
- Deliver thoughtful and respectful service during emotionally sensitive financial discussions.
- Manage a steady workload in a fast-paced call center environment while maintaining quality standards.
- Follow established procedures during onboarding and daily operations to ensure compliance and consistency.
- Contribute to this contract assignment by demonstrating dependable attendance and strong overall performance. Requirements
- Previous experience in call center customer service or a similar phone-based support role.
- Ability to handle inbound calls efficiently while maintaining an attentive and empathetic tone.
- Familiarity with customer service software and basic office tools.
- Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to explain processes clearly to customers.
- Careful approach to reviewing accounts, recording information, and validating documentation.
- Comfortable working onsite Monday through Friday in a high-volume environment.
- Reliable attendance, including full participation during the initial mandatory training period.
