Job Description
Personal Lines Account Manager - Renewals & Retention Burg Insurance Group is seeking a proactive, client-focused Personal Lines Account Manager to manage policy renewals and help retain our valued clients. This position is more than sending renewal notices. The ideal candidate will act as a trusted insurance advisor by reaching out to clients before their renewal, reviewing coverage and premiums, identifying possible savings or coverage gaps, and helping clients make the best decision for their household.
Key responsibilities:
Proactively contact personal-lines clients before policy renewal using Agency Revolution, phone calls, emails, and text messages. Review auto, home, umbrella, renters, flood, and other personal insurance renewals. Discuss renewal premiums, coverage changes, deductibles, and available options with clients. Determine whether the current carrier remains the best fit or whether the policy should be remarketed. Run and compare renewal quotes with competitive carriers when appropriate. Help clients renew with their current carrier when it provides the best value and coverage. Identify cross-selling opportunities, including auto, home, umbrella, flood, renters, and recreational vehicle coverage. Provide exceptional customer service while helping clients understand their insurance options.Qualifications:
Personal-lines insurance experience is preferred. Active Texas Property & Casualty license, or willingness to obtain one. Comfortable making proactive outbound calls and following up with clients. Strong communication, organization, and customer-service skills. Ability to explain insurance coverage clearly and professionally. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple renewal deadlines. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building client relationships, finding solutions, and helping families protect what matters most.Pay:
