Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Guest Service Agent to join our team at a premier Courtyard Marriott hotel, in Dripping Springs. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills and a passion for providing outstanding hospitality. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in ensuring their experience is memorable and enjoyable. This position requires proficiency in phone systems and front desk operations, along with the ability to handle guest inquiries with professionalism and courtesy. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out processes. Manage reservations, including modifications and cancellations, using hotel management software. Handle guest inquiries and requests efficiently, providing accurate information about hotel services and local attractions. Maintain a clean and organized front desk area to create a welcoming environment. Address guest complaints or concerns promptly, ensuring satisfactory resolutions. Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready for arrivals. Utilize phone etiquette to manage incoming calls, directing them to the appropriate departments as necessary. Assist in promoting hotel services, amenities, and special offers to enhance guest experiences. Wear hotel uniform and name tag in accrodance with brand standards. Experience Previous experience in hospitality or customer service roles is preferred not required. Familiarity with front desk operations in a hotel or resort setting is highly desirable. Knowledge of hospitality management principles will be an advantage. Multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to better serve our diverse clientele.
