UPITOMMYS.COM Cashier/Clerk duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Wait on and assist customers.

• Maintain a friendly and courteous appearance atmosphere and attitude with customers at all times. Make customers your number one priority.
• Handle Company funds in an efficient, accurate and honest manner.
• Maintain inventory control.
• Front shelves, both grocery and cooler.
• Restock all liquid dispensers.
• Maintain cleanliness of entire store, inside and outside.
• Properly operate cash register
• Comply with state laws and Company policy regarding the sale of alcoholic beverages, tobacco products, lottery tickets and other age-restricted products where these items are sold.
• Have capability of lifting 50 pounds from a dead weight lift.
• Be able to stand on feet for long periods of time.

Position Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older to be eligible for employment.
• Must be a self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Must be flexible with work hours.

Benefits:

• Mininum Starting pay $12.00/hr
• Vacation Pay after one year
