Overview The Convenience Store / Gas Station Associate provides excellent customer service while operating the store, fuel pumps, and U-Haul truck rental dealership. Responsibilities include ringing up sales, stocking merchandise, maintaining cleanliness and safety, verifying age-restricted purchases, and handling all aspects of U-Haul rentals from reservation to vehicle return. Responsibilities Greet customers promptly and assist with purchases, fuel, lottery, and general inquiries. Store Operations Stock shelves, coolers, and displays Maintain cleanliness of the store interior, restrooms, fuel pump islands, and parking lot. Perform opening and closing procedures, including cash reconciliation, safe drops, and security checks. Monitor fuel pumps, report equipment issues, and assist customers with basic fueling questions. U-Haul Truck Rental Duties Assist customers with U-Haul truck, trailer, and equipment rentals: explain rates, sizes, policies, and insurance options. Process reservations, contracts, and payments using U-Haul systems. Conduct thorough pre-rental and return inspections of vehicles and equipment (damage, fuel level, mileage, lights, tires, etc.). Document condition with photos/notes and handle any damage claims or additional charges according to U-Haul procedures. Qualifications & Requirements Previous retail, customer service, or cashier experience preferred; U-Haul or rental experience a plus. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks (stocking, cleaning, light vehicle checks). This role combines retail convenience store operations with specialized U-Haul rental services, requiring strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and reliability.

$11.00 - $12.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 - 40.0 per week
