Duties Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently Assist customers with product inquiries, provide product demos when applicable, and upsell items to enhance their shopping experience Handle cash register operations including cash handling, cash drawer management, and balancing registers at shift end Stock shelves and merchandise displays according to store merchandising standards; ensure products are organized and accessible Maintain cleanliness by performing janitorial duties such as sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and restroom upkeep to uphold health and safety standards Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions via phone etiquette, and guiding them through their shopping journey Support inventory management through stocking supplies, conducting inventory counts, and assisting with product demos to promote featured items Qualifications Previous retail experience or grocery store background is preferred but not required; training will be provided Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers Familiarity with POS systems, retail math calculations, and cash register operations Demonstrated ability to handle cash handling accurately and manage a cash drawer responsibly Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional phone etiquette Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly for transactions and inventory counts Supervising experience or leadership skills are advantageous for supporting team efforts and overseeing stockroom activities Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift merchandise regularly, and perform janitorial tasks effectively Embark on a rewarding journey with us where your energy fuels our success!
