Job Description
Job Summary I-20 Animal Hospital is seeking a friendly, dependable, and compassionate Client Service Representative to join our team. As a busy 24-hour veterinary hospital, we need someone who can provide excellent client service while remaining calm, organized, and professional in a fast-paced environment. Our CSRs are often the first and last point of contact for our clients. The ideal candidate will communicate clearly, show compassion during difficult situations, and work closely with our veterinary team to ensure every client and patient receives exceptional care. Responsibilities Greet clients and visitors warmly, fostering a friendly and professional atmosphere Schedule appointments and manage client flow efficiently using veterinary software systems Collect and process payments, including medical collections, accurately recording transactions Communicate effectively with clients regarding pet care instructions, appointment details, and follow-up needs Support veterinary staff with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and record keeping in compliance with USDA and DEA regulations Maintain cleanliness and organization of front desk area, exam rooms. Requirements Previous customer service experience is required Veterinary reception experience is preferred but not required Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities Comfortable using computers, phones, and scheduling software Ability to remain calm and professional during emergencies and stressful situations Dependable attendance and punctuality Ability to work independently and as part of a team Compassionate and respectful when assisting clients experiencing difficult or emotional situations Willingness to learn veterinary terminology and hospital procedures Experience with Cornerstone veterinary software is a plus.
