Job Description

Lakeshore's Nursery Ministry is an important part of the church's Children's Ministry. The nursery is the place where a child begins a lifetime of faith. Our part-time, lead nursery teachers provide a stable and nurturing environment for children through three years of age on Sunday mornings, Wednesday evenings, during meetings and special occasions where childcare is provided. Additionally, our nursery provides a loving, safe, and biblical environment, so that parents feel confident in leaving their child in our care. If you are a person who loves children and their parents, desires to contribute to biblical discipleship, and enjoys being part of a team, Lakeshore Nursery Ministry is the place.
Childcare Worker Requirements:
Complete Ministry Safe Training, CPR and first aid training, and submit to a background check. Create a clean and nurturing environment where children can learn. Cultivate positive relationships with families, children, and other staff. Teach age-appropriate Bible curriculum during the Bible study hour. Provide consistent structure/routines in the classroom. Provide an attentive and safe environment for children to play.
Skills and Experience:
CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain Complete Ministry Safe Training Must be able to pass a background check Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and work indoors and outdoors Must be able to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children If you are interested in applying for this position, please email a copy of your resume to kelli@lakeshorebaptist.com. Pay:
$14.00 - $14.50 per hour Expected hours: No less than 6.0 per week
