PART TIME FRONT DESK CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE
8am-5pm or 10-7 Monday thru Friday - and Saturdays as need it from 9am to 1pm Busy medical office is looking for highly capable, bubbly, and experienced medical office specialists in the reception area to assist us with day-to-day administrative tasks at our healthcare facility. In this role, you will be responsible for scheduling appointments, obtaining patient information, and verifying medical insurance information. To ensure success, the medical office specialist should possess extensive experience in medical office administration and the ability to interact with patients. Aside from patient care, we love to have fun and our team is amazing! We are like a family. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office Scheduling appointments for patients according to their preferences and availability of doctor, nurse practitioner, staff, equipment, and other resources Reviewing patients' medical histories and insurance coverage prior to scheduling appointments Collecting co-payments from patients and updating all medical insurances in system, demographics, etc for 3 providers. Direct visitors and patients to the appropriate person and office Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures) Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, and faxing Check in & out Schedule & Reschedule appointments Skills Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role Bilingual Computer savvy Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers) Professional attitude, bubbly, fun, compassionate, and appearance must be professional Solid written and verbal communication skills Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise Excellent organizational skills Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks Customer service attitude High school degree
Administrative Duties:
Scheduling and rescheduling for 4 providers Checkin and Checking out Answering and routing phone calls Greeting visitors
Pay:
$12.00 - $14.00 per hour
