Duties Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently to process transactions quickly and accurately Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and provide outstanding customer service with professionalism and friendliness Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging additional sales through upselling strategies Assist with merchandising and stocking shelves to ensure a clean, organized, and inviting shopping environment Maintain proper cash handling procedures, including balancing registers at shift end and managing cash accurately Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when taking orders or addressing customer inquiries over the phone Support retail sales efforts by promoting current promotions, loyalty programs, and new products to maximize sales opportunities Experience Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store setting is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key Supervising experience is a plus, especially if it involved training or mentoring team members in customer service or sales techniques Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer bases effectively Strong communication skills to clearly convey product information and assist customers confidently Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, giving correct change, and managing retail math calculations Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures to ensure accuracy during busy hours Experience in grocery stores or retail environments that involve merchandising, stocking, or product demos will be advantageous Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering memorable shopping experiences!
