Job DescriptionAs a Field Service Representative, you'll be on the front lines providing operations and maintenance expertise on water treatment systems for our customers from one of a variety of industries. This mission critical role involves working on a variety of technologies focusing on ultrafiltration (UF) but including, media filtration, softening, reverse osmosis (RO), ion exchange (IX), de-oxygenation and electro deionization.

Key CharacteristicsConduct maintenance and calibration activities on various treatment plant instrumentationConsult with customer management and operation teamsEnsure contract compliance of volume and quality specificationsMonitor and optimize equipment performanceInstall and provide maintenance activities on various UF/RO membrane configurationsProvide excellent mechanical know how and problem-solving skillsDuties & ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot mechanical, electrical, process and controls on equipment such as valves, air compressors, ejectors pumps, blowers, instrumentation, chemical injection systems and automation hardwareCreate and maintain site paperwork, and provide customers with detailed technical summaries of work performedMaintain inventory of spare parts and adequate supply of chemicals and replacement partsMonitor and maintain chemical injection systemsPerform analytical testing such as: turbidity, hardness, chlorine, pH, CO2, O2, SDI, TOC, in addition to various other site-specific testing requirementsReview customer plant installations and compare against WTS reference drawings (P&IDs, electrical schematics, general arrangement, etc.)Train customer operators around operation and maintenance of their systemOther duties as assignedQualificationsKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesDemonstrated ability to work independently and remotely with project teamsProvide customers with informal training around operation and maintenance of their system

Education & ExperienceRequired:

High School Diploma / GED / Home School Certification OR international equivalent 2+ years' experience of service/maintenance or equivalent in an industrial environmentValid Driver's LicenseMust be able to travel occasionally
