Job Description
Join The Birria Queen (TBQ) as a Customer Service Crew Member - Prairie View and help create an exceptional experience for every guest. In this fast-paced role, you'll welcome customers, accurately process in-person and online orders, operate our POS system, and work closely with the team to ensure efficient service and quality order fulfillment. You'll also assist with maintaining a clean, organized workspace and supporting event operations. We're looking for dependable, energetic team members who value professionalism, teamwork, and great customer service. Responsibilities Deliver friendly, professional, and efficient customer service to all TBQ guests. Accurately process and manage in-person, online orders using the POS system. Maintain knowledge of the TBQ menu to answer questions, provide recommendations, and assist customers with ordering. Coordinate with team members to ensure accurate, timely, and quality order fulfillment. Support food preparation, order assembly, packaging, and other service needs as assigned. Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and sanitary work environment. Assist with setup, breakdown, loading, unloading, and general operations for special events. Monitor supplies and inventory and communicate restocking or operational needs to management. Follow all company policies, food safety standards, health regulations, and operating procedures. Represent The Birria Queen professionally at campus events. Perform additional duties as needed to support daily operations and customer service. Qualifications Previous customer service, restaurant, hospitality, or retail experience preferred. Experience using a POS system and managing orders is a plus. Strong communication and customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude. Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Ability to multitask, stay organized, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to learn and follow TBQ service standards, operational procedures, and food safety guidelines. Flexible availability for afternoons, evenings, weekends, and special events as needed. Reliable transportation to scheduled on-campus events. Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift, carry, load, and unload supplies and equipment as needed.
