Great opportunity to work in the entertainment industry! The H-E-B Center at Cedar Park delivers fun, family entertainment including sports, concerts and family shows among other events, bringing energy, excitement, and new business to the Cedar Park, Austin and Central Texas area. The H-E-B Center at Cedar Park is home to the Texas Stars, AHL team of the Dallas Stars, and the Austin Spurs, NBA Development League team of the San Antonio Spurs.

JOB SUMMARY

This position works all Front of House areas and handles all guest services, including ADA services for persons with disabilities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Greeting guests and assisting with general information and requests Scan tickets at the entrance of the facility, checking credentials within the building Direct guests to their ticketed seats and assist with all questions or concerns Maintain a positive & secure environment / section by being visible and ready for customer interaction Utilize excellent verbal and interpersonal skills to defuse customer issues Able to solve customer problems by being customer focused and empathetic Monitor door entrances, exits, passenger elevators, and freight elevators Keep unauthorized people out of restricted areas Handle all needs for guests with disabilities, including ticketing, entering/exiting, seating, and overall, ADA compliance Patrol and maintain Front of House area of the facility, ensuring that the areas are clean, safe, and secure Report & log all incidents

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Demonstrated knowledge of Guest Services Some knowledge of radio communication equipment is preferred Ability to work during a variety of events, the majority of which take place on weekends and nights and sometimes occur on holidays Bilingual applicants are always welcome

Physical Demands and Working Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand and walk for extended periods of time, sit, use hands and fingers, handle objects and office tools, reach, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee is exposed to an arena environment, with noise levels that can reach quite loud.
