Full Job Description NOTE:
Our Consulting Firm is representing a local, family owned plumbing company. This CSR role is for that company, not our consulting firm. The Customer Service Representative is the voice and first impression of our company. This role is central to the day-to-day rhythm of our operations — you are the primary point of contact for customers calling in, and you work in close partnership with our field technicians and dispatch team to keep service running smoothly. You will answer inbound calls, book service appointments, gather customer information, and respond to questions and concerns with professionalism and care. When challenges arise, you will think on your feet, communicate clearly, and work toward solutions that serve both the customer and the team. This is a fully on-site position based in San Angelo, TX. Responsibilities Answer inbound calls promptly, obtain customer information, and schedule service appointments accurately. Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries, concerns, and follow-up communications. Coordinate with the dispatch team to ensure technicians are scheduled efficiently and customers are kept informed. Notify customers proactively if a technician will be delayed and reschedule at the customer's convenience. Communicate with field technicians before and after service calls to confirm details, debrief on outcomes, and ensure timely payment collection. Verify that technicians follow standard operating procedures for completing estimates, invoices, and job documentation. Communicate with the Purchasing and Warehouse Coordinator to support efficient parts delivery to the field. Assist in maintaining scheduling efficiency — supporting the goal of maximum productivity without sacrificing client satisfaction. Develop and maintain reports that support operational visibility and department efficiency. Uphold the company core values and philosophy in all interactions. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience Self-starter with a reliable, solution-oriented work ethic Strong phone etiquette and written communication skills Professional verbal and written communication — clear, confident, and courteous Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to navigate both routine and complex customer interactions Ability to work independently and as a contributing team member Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets) Strong critical thinking and English composition skills Ability to identify inefficiencies and propose practical solutions Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus, but not required Why This Role Matters In the trades, a great CSR doesn't just answer phones — they build trust, create calm in the chaos, and keep the whole operation moving. Pay:
$18.00 - $21.00 per hour
