Duties Greet customers warmly, taking their orders with enthusiasm and professionalism Prepare non-alcoholic beverages such as coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks according to established recipes and standard Handle cash register operations, including processing cash, credit card payments, and giving correct change Maintain cleanliness of the café area by regularly cleaning tables, counters, equipment, and food preparation surfaces Assist in food handling and preparation tasks to ensure quality and food safety standards are met Manage retail sales transactions with accuracy while providing excellent customer service throughout each interaction Qualifications Previous experience in food service or café environments is preferred; barista experience is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Excellent time management skills to ensure timely beverage preparation and customer service This role is perfect for motivated individuals passionate about delivering great service in a lively café atmosphere.
