Dispatcher - Customer Service

Staffing is seeking a dedicated and efficient Dispatcher-Customer Service Representative to act as the crucial communication hub for one of our clients. In this role, you will be the vital link between the drivers and passengers, ensuring smooth and timely pick-up and drop-off operations. You'll play a key role in providing excellent customer service and maintaining the efficiency for our client. •

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 9am-6pm• Saturdays as needed

Responsibilities:

Dispatching & Communication:

Serve as the central point of contact for our clients drivers and customers. This includes communicating with customers to notify them of their driver's arrival.

Trip Scheduling:

Efficiently schedule transportation for customers who are unable to use the Transit App, ensuring all necessary trip details are accurately recorded and communicated to drivers.

Hazard Reporting:

Act promptly and responsibly when drivers report hazards via radio.

This includes:

Contacting the non-emergency police line to report traffic accidents. Reporting malfunctioning traffic lights.

Customer Engagement:

Encourage customers to utilize the Transit App for future trip purchases, highlighting its convenience and benefits.

Cash Handling:

Process cash payments for day passes and reloadable cards sold in the office, adhering to all cash handling procedures (training provided).

Operational Support:

Assist with other office duties during slower periods to ensure overall operational efficiency. Requirements Previous experience in customer service or a related field is preferred. Strong phone etiquette skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions quickly. Proficient typing skills for accurate data entry during customer interactions. Experience with dispatching operations is advantageous. A positive attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
