Job Description
Customer Service Representative Always Auto - 1.0 Wichita Falls, TX Job Details Full-time $12 - $18 an hour 9 hours ago Qualifications Customer follow-ups Deal closing Retail customer service procedures Objection handling (sales technique) Customer communication Customer relationship building Customer relationship management Furniture sales Closing sales leads Sales follow-up Automotive sales deal closing Full Job Description We are not hiring a "greeter." If you clicked because you thought "customer service rep" meant sitting behind a desk answering phones with a headset on — close this tab now. Save us both the time. This is a customer-facing sales floor position at a dealership that runs hard, moves fast, and does not carry weight. You will be the first face a customer sees, the person who builds the relationship, and the one who closes the deal. Every skill a top car salesperson has — reading people, handling objections, following up relentlessly, closing without being pushy — is required here. We call it Customer Experience because that's the job: the entire experience of buying a car, start to finish, runs through you. If you've been coasting in a retail job where "customer service" means restocking shelves and avoiding conflict, this is not that. If you've been out-earned by weaker salespeople because you're better with people than you are at "the numbers game" — this is built for you. What You'll Actually Do Greet and engage every customer who walks the lot or calls in — no cherry-picking leads, no waiting for the "easy" one Run the full sales process: needs assessment, vehicle walkthrough, test drive, negotiation, close Handle objections in real time — price, trade value, credit concerns — without caving or begging Follow up on every lead, every be-back, every "I need to think about it," until it's closed or truly dead Support the desk and management with paperwork, CRM updates, and deal prep — this role assists the sales process end-to-end, not just the parts that are fun Maintain accurate, honest information with customers at all times — we run a zero-tolerance ethics policy and it is not negotiable Hit activity and production standards tracked weekly — no hiding in the middle of the pack Who Actually Makes It Here You've either sold something before (cars, furniture, solar, insurance, doesn't matter) or you can prove you have the drive to learn it fast You can take a "no" and come back swinging instead of sulking You show up on time, every time, without a speech about why you didn't You want to be coached hard and held to a number — if being told you're underperforming makes you cry instead of adjust, this isn't for you You have reliable transportation and can work Saturdays — this is retail sales, not banker's hours We will not carry a body that shows up to collect a paycheck. If that's what you're looking for, Dollar General's still hiring down the road. What You Get $15-20/hr base [confirm: + commission plan structure — draw against commission? flat plan pay? need this before posting] Direct coaching from ownership — high-accountability, high-standards culture, not corporate babysitting Real path to advancement for people who actually perform A team that will push you to be sharper than you were yesterday — every single day Apply If You're Actually Built For This Send your resume and one sentence on the hardest sale you've ever closed — on anything, doesn't have to be a car. If you can't think of one, that's your answer. Always Auto is an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or any other protected status.
