Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a Bilingual Spanish Customer Care professional for a temp-to-hire Patient Experience Specialist opportunity in South Jordan, UT. This role supports a healthcare services environment, with a strong focus on creating a smooth, positive, and well-informed office experience for every patient. This is a great opportunity for someone with dental office experience who enjoys helping patients understand their treatment plans, insurance benefits, financial options, and appointment schedules. Key Responsibilities
- Welcome patients, verify demographics, complete access forms and consents, and manage check-in and check-out processes.
- Review approved treatment plans with patients and assist with financial arrangements for multi-visit care.
- Schedule patient appointments and coordinate provider, staff, and chair availability to support daily utilization goals.
- Gather insurance information, complete pre-authorizations, and help patients understand insurance benefits.
- Manage daily payment transactions, resolve payment discrepancies, and post payments accurately to patient accounts.
- Communicate professionally with patients, clinical teams, and outside entities to support smooth office operations. Compensation and Benefits

On-site position with an expectation of 40+ hours per week. Required Qualifications and Skills- Support patient scheduling, check-in, check-out, insurance verification, and payment processing.
- Assist patients with treatment plan questions, financial arrangements, and appointment coordination.
- Coordinate with clinical and administrative teams to maintain efficient patient flow.
- Manage patient communications and ensure accurate documentation in office systems.
- 1 to 3 years of dental office experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff in both English and Spanish.
- Ability to learn and work efficiently with Electronic Health Records, EHR, software.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
- Strong customer service skills and a professional communication style.
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage patient information accurately.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain regular attendance in an on-site role.
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate across departments. Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with dental scheduling, insurance pre-authorization, treatment plan coordination, or payment posting.
- Experience supporting high-volume patient flow in a dental or healthcare office.
- Familiarity with dental practice management systems or EHR platforms.
