In this role, you will serve as the vital link between our customers and our skilled technicians, ensuring a smooth and transparent service experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to their vehicle concerns or service requests.
- Explain necessary maintenance and repair procedures clearly and professionally.
- Assist in diagnosing mechanical issues through customer interviews, visual inspections, or road tests.
- Prepare detailed repair orders based on customer needs and inspection findings.
- Estimate costs for additional repairs not included in the original service order and obtain customer approval before proceeding.
- Advise customers on available services, maintenance schedules, and vehicle care options.
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely and accurate completion of repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service history, and work performed.
Requirements Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an automotive service advisor or in a similar customer service role within the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, maintenance procedures, and repair processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
- Ability to diagnose vehicle issues through questioning, inspection, and testing.
- Proficiency in using automotive service management software and basic computer skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
