Participants receive hands on training, mentorship, and real world experience while working within the agency. The ideal candidate is self motivated, organized, goal oriented, and eager to grow personally and professionally. Responsibilities Quote insurance premiums and sell policies Call, follow up, and manage provided leads Perform some cold calling and prospecting Cross sell and upsell additional products to clients Build relationships through strong communication and customer service Learn Farmers products and confidently answer client questions Demonstrate professionalism, initiative, and sales ability Listen actively and identify client needs Qualifications Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health insurance experience preferred, but not required Willingness to study for and obtain required insurance licenses if not currently licensed Sales, marketing, customer service, or management experience is helpful Ability to pass a background check, including credit and criminal review Skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Self motivated with a goal oriented mindset Strong organizational and time management abilities Ability to manage and follow a marketing pipeline Basic computer skills and attention to detail Customer service focused with a willingness to learn License/Certification Property & Casualty insurance license required or willingness to obtain upon hire
