Customer Service Representative Shift/Hours/Days:

1st shift, 6am-2:30pm Monday-Friday Client Profile The client is best known as a third-party logistics provider specializing in warehousing, distribution, transportation, and supply chain management. Headquartered in Wytheville, Virginia, the company has served manufacturers and distributors throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast for more than 30 years. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for customers. Answer customer questions by phone, email, and other forms of communication. Coordinate customer orders, shipments, pickups, and deliveries. Communicate with warehouse employees regarding incoming and outgoing freight. Track inventory and help maintain inventory accuracy. Enter and maintain information in warehouse and transportation management systems. Collect, organize, and distribute warehouse and shipment information. Coordinate loading and unloading activities. Monitor shipments and communicate updates or delays to customers. Research and resolve customer problems, complaints, and shipment issues. Notify customers regarding shipment or operational updates. Research unpaid or short-paid invoices and communicate with customers when necessary. Maintain accurate records and documentation. Help ensure warehouse operations meet customer requirements. Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment. Perform other duties as assigned. What You'll Bring Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to listen, follow instructions, and prioritize work. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to remain professional and composed in stressful situations. Ability to work independently while coordinating with warehouse and management personnel. Microsoft Office experience, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
