GovCIO is currently hiring for a Field Service Representative (FSR). The ideal candidate will be responsible for the overall function of the deployable communications system for the customer from delivery to deployment. Producing top quality products for the customer is vital. This position will be in Hampton, Va and will be an onsite position with 24/7 support. GovCIO integrates deployable communications capabilities on behalf of our customer to provide deployable communications capabilities worldwide. GovCIO manages the hardware and software configurations; develops and provides training; field service support, logistics services; and manages Information Assurance and Risk Management Framework processes on behalf of the customer. As the Subject Matter Expert (SME) Field Service Representative (FSR) you are the primary liaison between the customer and company. You are responsible for the overall function of the deployable communications system for the customer from delivery to deployment. You are the SME in system assembly, installation, and system configuration in accordance with site assessments and schematics. You are the SME in ensuring completeness of system programming and optimization as part of the installation process and perform routine system maintenance and analysis functions, including hardware configurations and adding, removing, and replacing equipment components, when necessary. You provide on-site end-user training on system operation, maintenance, and limited troubleshooting. Operate efficiently to conclude all on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and test activities. Assembles, installs and configures systems and equipment in accordance with site assessments and schematics Completes system programming and optimization as part of the installation process Performs routine system maintenance and analysis functions, including hardware configurations and adding, removing and replacing equipment components, when necessary Provides on-site end-user training on system operation, maintenance and limited troubleshooting Operate efficiently to conclude all on site installation, repair, maintenance and test activities Perform troubleshooting and strive to resolve issues Produce frequent and analytical service reports Team up with colleagues and pass on important information Discern customer needs and offer advice or recommendations Formulate relationships of trust with customers Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions to eliminate problem in minimum time Maintain effective customer communications and relations May provide onsite training of customer support personnel Familiar with SATCOM terminals and Networking equipment Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate Ability to work with the customer on a daily basis to train with the system, deploy the system and troubleshoot the system. Able to operate independently, self-starterQualifications:
High School with 3•6 years (or commensurate experience)Required Skills and Experience Clearance Required:
ActiveTS SCI 1-3
years Networking and/or System administration experience DoD 8140 IAT Level II (Sec+CE, SSCP, CND, CCNA Security, etc) Ability to support 24/7 operations (Shift Work) Travel between 25%•50% based on availability and mission requirements, international travel to customer locations in Europe, Asia, and other locations. Preferred Skills and Experience Experience with DoD deployed communications Experience with DoD NIPR, SIPR, and JWICS Networks IT Help Desk #DSG #NSS #MAVERICK
