Delivery Driver/Customer Service

Out of Hanover we service Northern VA, DC, a few stops in WV but close in. Duties Safely operate a box truck or similar vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols during route driving and deliveries Load and unload goods efficiently manual lifting techniques, ensuring proper handling of all items Plan and follow optimized delivery routes to maximize efficiency and punctuality Deliver products directly to customers' locations, providing friendly and professional customer service throughout each interaction Verify delivery accuracy, obtain signatures when required, and document all deliveries meticulously Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory management, moving stock within the facility, and maintaining organized storage areas Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route updates, delivery issues, or customer feedback Skills Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier with a strong track record of reliable route driving Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle inquiries courteously and professionally Experience operating commercial vehicles such as box trucks with manual transmission capabilities Familiarity with warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and heavy lifting techniques Ability to perform physical tasks involving moving and lifting heavy items safely Knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and best practices for commercial driving Strong organizational skills for route planning and load management We do have plenty of work and have been distributing for 10 years. Pay:

$20.00 - $23.00 per hour
