Duties Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately to process transactions quickly and efficiently Handle cash, credit, and digital payments with precision and attention to detail Provide exceptional customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product inquiries Conduct product demos to showcase new or featured items, encouraging upselling opportunities Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented Assist with inventory management through stocking and merchandising tasks to keep the store organized and inviting Use strong communication skills to manage phone inquiries professionally and courteously Apply basic math skills for cash handling, giving correct change, and balancing registers at shift end Support team members with supervising experience by helping train new staff or guiding peers as needed Experience Previous retail sales or cashiering experience preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is advantageous Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs effectively Experience in grocery stores or retail environments enhances your ability to succeed in this role Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and customer engagement techniques Demonstrated ability to upsell products through friendly suggestions and product demos Basic math proficiency for retail math calculations and cash transactions This position is ideal for motivated individuals eager to develop their retail expertise while delivering outstanding customer service.
