We are currently seeking applicants for a full-time customer service representative who will be r esponsible for the prompt, efficient, and safe delivery and pickup of laundry. Responsible for loading and unloading the truck, physically counting and weighing goods during delivery and pickup. Perform minor maintenance and safety checks of the truck.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

The following duties and responsibilities represent the essential functions of this job that an individual must be able to perform with or without a reasonable accommodation: Provides quality goods and services to customers and continually works to improve service to customers Ensures the delivery and pickup of laundry occur at the scheduled times Completes accurate counts and weights at delivery and pickup locations Ensures all finished goods are packaged properly as per customer specifications Generates load tickets and/or other necessary paperwork for deliveries and pickups Maintains a safe and clean work environment and vehicle, and accurately completes required vehicle logs Complies with all safety procedures and requirements and attends training sessions accordingly Other duties as assigned Travel to/from laundry facilities and service locations

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, & EXPERIENCE

The following qualifications represent the training, education, certifications, licensures, and/or work experience required to perform the essential duties and responsibilities successfully: Experience driving a medium-sized truck, with the ability to operate a standard transmission Acceptable driving record, criminal background check, and pre-employment drug screening required Knowledge of safe and efficient operation of commercial motor vehicles (26ft box truck) Able to complete delivery and pickup assignments in a timely and accurate manner Capable of basic arithmetic, which includes addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division Effective verbal and written communication skills and excellent customer service standards and practices with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and exercise good judgment

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

Physical demands: Performing the duties of this job requires near visual acuity, the ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds, and gross manipulation. Additionally, the employee: Must be free of tuberculosis in a communicable form Must be able to lift 50 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 70 pounds Must be able to move and direct pallet jack/carts with material weighing up to 900 pounds, which requires a full range of motion including, but not limited to, bending, crouching, stooping, pushing, pulling, or reaching at/below shoulder level and overhead Must pass and maintain Department of Transportation (DOT) physical Work environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be primarily in an industrial setting and in medium- to large-sized vehicles and may be exposed to dust/lint. Must be able to withstand extremes of temperature and noise level.
